This week has been eventful for the fledgling alliance Utopia!
-Attack! A rogue nation named United Kingdom attacked five of our nations, bringing Utopia into the war on terrorism. Brave actions and quick thinking by our SG and our secretaries soon brought the fight to a close, with multiple alliances coming to our aid. In another attack, an alliance declared war on utopia but through quick action, and the backup of friendly alliances, were forced to pay reparations.
-Elections started this week. Many people have already declared with rumors of a few more last minute entries. Part of what makes Utopia special is a monthly election for leader and so far two great nations are battling it out for the position of Secretary General. While the race started out civilly, Baker Harrington brought the game to a whole new level, accusing Kai Cohen of twisting the truth, and bringing his accusations to the point of flat out calling Kai a liar. One can only wonder how this will escalate before the end of the elections. One of the great things about Utopia is the lack of political parties trying to take over all positions in the government. Yet one wonders how long this will last and if a split between Kai and Baker might lead to opposing parties vying for control of the alliance each election.
